The focus of my work is to push the conventions of sculpture and minimalism. I choose plain materials for how they interact with light and use photography to control spatial perception. Although complex, the final form is held in a quiet space so that stillness can be felt.

The entire process can involve a variety of digital and analog methods: photography, sculpture, collage, drawing, and printmaking.

Artists I feel a kinship with are Larry Bell, Lygia Clark, Kazuko Miyamoto, Tadao Ando, and Edward Weston.
